To have your hair done
professionally it will cost $20 to $50.
It will take about an hour to get your hair
done. Make sure you make your appointment
several hours before you leave for the prom
though. Also make it 2 months in advance.
Some people even like to go from a trial
run a few weeks before too. Also if you
see a hairstyle online or in a magazine
that you like, print it out and bring it
to the hairdresser. Plus don't wash your
hair the day before the prom, it will hold
better in less clean hair.
To get your nails done
professionally it will cost about $25. Also
you can go to Wal-Mart and get airbrushed
fake nails for about $5 and put them on
yourself. Also you can just paint them yourself
and put decals or gemstones on them also
available at Wal-Mart. Make sure your nails
match your dress or accessories though;
hot pink nails and a baby blue dress don't
go over that well unless your making a statement.
Don't forget the toes. Even if your shoes
aren't open toed your most likely to take
them off while dance.
You can get your makeup
done professionally too but most people
just do it themselves or have someone do
it for them.
Think of how much time
you'll need to get ready and triple it.
Things always pop up and you don't want
to be in a rush to be perfect.
